Manoj Rajan

Manoj has close to two decades of experience in both leadership and operating roles across the Real Estate and Infrastructure Space. He has been with the Piramal Group for the last 6 years, most recently as Partner (Investments), Piramal Finance Limited where he is responsible for overseeing origination, investments, asset management and exits across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Pune and Ahmedabad with a team of 12 members. Additionally, he has also spearheaded thematic fund vehicles focused on redevelopment and slum rehabilitation as well as bulk buying of apartments. Manoj has a strong grounding on regulatory aspects of development in the MMR, with a particular emphasis on re-development under various policies and statutes. Previously, Manoj was heading the Business Development function for Piramal Realty from 2011 until 2012 wherein he was responsible for sourcing both greenfield and brownfield projects.

Prior to the Piramal Group, Manoj was with Godrej properties for over 6 years where he was responsible for sourcing land deals close to in cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. Manoj began his career with L&T - Construction Division where he handled Project Management roles across various Industrial projects and Infrastructure projects. He also was part of the Infrastructure Advisory team in CRISIL where he advised clients in setting up of SEZ and managed bid process for Infrastructure projects in the Transportation sector.

Manoj by is a Civil Engineer by background and has a Diploma in Construction Management (NICMAR- Pune) and MBA (IIT-SJSOM).
