Jairam Sridharan

Chief Executive Officer

Jairam is the CEO of Piramal Retail Finance.

Before joining Piramal, Jairam worked at Axis Bank as Chief Financial Officer (CFO, from 2015-20), where he was heading Finance & Accounting, Strategy, Investor relations and Business Intelligence Unit. Jairam as CFO has managed large balance sheet size of AUM of ~ Rs 9.15 lakh crores with a market capitalization of ~ Rs 1.40 lakh crores. Previously, Jairam set up the Retail Lending & Payments (from 2010-2015) where he grew the business from an AUM of ~ Rs 20,000 cr to ~ Rs. 1.2 lakh crores in 5 years timeframe diversifying product mix across retail segment.

Previously, Jairam has worked with Capital One (2003-10) as Head of New to Credit, where he grew the portfolio to 1MM new accounts annually clocking $ 65 MM in annual profits. At ICICI Bank (1998-2003), Jairam set up Analytics practice for consumer banking business

Jairam, in the past has held Director positions on the Boards of various lending and consumer finance companies in India – Axis Finance, Axis Securities, A.TReds, Freecharge, Experian India (Credit Bureau) and Bussan Auto Finance.

Jairam has an overall experience of 21 years, with rich domain experience, specializing in Analytics, Risk Management setting up at scale businesses. Jairam has featured in Economic Times: “40 under 40” India’s hottest business leaders, 2015.
